What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That should make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
